- What is Free Online No Sign Up?
- Free Online No Sign Up is a collection of free browser-based tools for everyday tasks — unit conversions, text formatting, file handling, calculators, and more. Every tool is free to use with no account required.
- Is it really free?
- Yes. All tools are free to use. There are no paywalls, no premium tiers, and no time-limited trials. Core tools are designed to stay free.
- Do I need to create an account?
- No. You can use every tool on the site without signing up or logging in. That is the whole point.
- What kinds of tools are available?
- Currently the site includes unit converters (length, temperature, weight, area, volume, time, and cooking). More categories — including text tools, PDF utilities, image tools, calculators, and developer tools — are being added over time.
Privacy and data
- Do you store the data I enter into tools?
- Most tools run entirely in your browser, which means the data you enter never leaves your device. For any tool that requires server-side processing, your input is used only to produce the result and is not stored or logged.
- Do you track me?
- We do not use advertising trackers or third-party profiling services. Standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) are kept for a short period for security and operational purposes. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
- Do you use cookies?
- We use a small number of cookies and browser local storage entries to remember preferences such as your colour scheme. We use Google Analytics and Google AdSense which may place cookies with your consent. See the Cookie Policy for details.
- Is my data sold to third parties?
- No. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
Tools
- How accurate are the conversions?
- Conversions are calculated using standard, well-established conversion factors. Results are displayed with high precision by default. For scientific or engineering use, always verify critical values against a primary reference.
- Can I use the tools on my phone?
- Yes. The site is fully responsive and works on mobile browsers. Some tools are better suited to larger screens, but all core functionality is available on any device.
- A tool is not working correctly. What should I do?
- First try a hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows/Linux, Cmd+Shift+R on Mac) to clear any cached files. If the issue persists, use the Report Issue page to describe what went wrong — include your browser, operating system, and steps to reproduce.
- Can I request a new tool?
- Yes. Use the Contact page to send a tool request. Describe what it should do, what input it takes, and what you would use it for. All requests are reviewed, though we cannot guarantee a timeline or reply to every submission individually.
Technical
- Which browsers are supported?
- The site works on all modern browsers — Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. Internet Explorer is not supported. For the best experience, keep your browser up to date.
- Do the tools work offline?
- Tools that run entirely in the browser will continue to work if you lose your connection mid-session, as long as the page has already loaded. The site does not currently offer a service worker or offline mode.
- Is there an API?
- There is no public API at this time. All tools are intended for direct browser use.
